Hyundai Veracruz, also known as ix55 is a mid-sized crossover that was produced by Hyundai from 2006 to 2015 ( it was discontinued in other countries than South Korea by 2011 ). In 2012 Hyundai announced that ix55 will be replaced by Santa Fe.

The Hyundai Veracruz is available with 1 petrol engine version and 2 diesel ones. The 3.8-liter petrol engine can produce 260 horsepower at 6000 RPM which might seem not too powerful for today’s SUV/Crossover standards.

At the time of production, the Hyundai Veracruz was the biggest cross-over produced by Hyundai.
