Toyota Land Cruiser Prado History
The Toyota Land Cruiser is one of the most successful series in Toyota lineups. The Land Cruiser first launched in 1951 with BJ. A true workhorse for military use. After that Toyota needed to alter the look of BJ so they could sell it to the public. Toyota changed the seat and soften up the suspension system and ” Model 20 ” was introduced.
The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is one of the smaller cars in the Land Cruiser family. It has been in production since 1984 with 5 generations.
The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is simply called Toyota Prado but it’s been also known as LC70, LC90, LC120, and LC150 too.
Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2021
The 4th and the latest generation of Toyota Prado has been in production since 2009. Known as the J150, it has had 2 facelifts. The model that we have provided here, is the second facelift of Prado’s 4th generation and it’s been in production since 2017.
In 2013 Toyota dropped the 3 door version of Prado due to poor sales and in 2020 all Prado models are only offered as automatic. There are various engines available for Toyota Prado in different countries. The most powerful one is a 3.5 Liter V6 that can produce 276 horsepower but the only available versions in Japan are 2.7 Liter and 2.8 Liter engines.

It’s great but I don’t like how the grill is the same color as the car. It takes the overall look of the car. It would be nice if we could change the grill color seperate.
